KI Appeal-Will Ontario Support Unconditional Release?
A Notice of Appeal of the sentences has been served. Since it could take many months before the appeal will be heard KI will also be bringing a motion in the Court of Appeal to have the sentences stayed (suspended) pending the hearing of the appeal. The motion will also ask that all of the prisoners be released unconditionally and immediately. KI have asked counsel for Ontario whether he has instructions from Mr. Bryant to support a motion for immediate unconditional release of the KI Six and Bob Lovelace but he has not yet responded.
