NO Consensus on Northern Table

There was no consensus on the Northern Table.Some folks may take that as a green light for the bilateral talks with Ontario to continue, but think again.
With 4 of 7 tribal councils supporting the principled position that they will not sit with Ontario while the KI Six are in jail it will be hard if not impossible for any talks to proceed.


Meanwhile the campaign to free the KI six is heating up and spreading. Ovide Mercredi is speaking at the April 9th rally at Ryerson U. And this time when KI goes to court they can expect a friendly interver.
